Medical Lab Technician (MLT/MLS) Travel Contract

Immediate need for a talented Medical Lab Technician (MLT/MLS) Travel Contract. This is a 13 weeks contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Wray, Colorado (Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range:

• Regular Pay: $19/hr
• Weekly Housing Stipend: $723
• Weekly Meals Stipend: $336
• Weekly Gross Pay: $1,819 (subject to completion of scheduled hours)

Key Responsibilities:

• Shift: 4x10hrs Days/Night
• Scheduled Hours: 40 Hours/Week
• Perform general laboratory testing and procedures according to department standards
• Collect and process patient specimens accurately and efficiently
• Perform phlebotomy procedures as needed
• Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) collections
• Maintain quality control and ensure accurate test results
• Follow laboratory safety policies, regulatory standards, and compliance requirements
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and laboratory team members
• Participate in shared call rotation, including occasional night and weekend coverage

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Current ASCP certification
• Valid MLT or MLS certification
• Prior travel assignment experience required
• Experience working in a hospital laboratory environment
• Strong skills in:
• General laboratory procedures
• Phlebotomy
• Arterial blood gas collection
