Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Computer Documentation in Chantilly, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. Job Schedule:
DayTimeSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun11:00 PM - 07:00 AMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
- Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, visitors, and delivery traffic in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Maintain detailed activity logs and complete incident reports while supporting the orderly movement of vehicles, packages, and people throughout the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
