Finance & Operations Transformation Consultant

Employment: Full-Time Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Finance Transformation Consultant to help clients modernize their finance processes, operating models, and technology solutions . The role will work closely with Finance leadership to optimize operations, improve performance, and deliver large-scale transformation initiatives.
The successful candidate should be interested in being part of the Montreal office team and comfortable working onsite when required.
Key Responsibilities-
Lead Finance transformation projects across clients and industries.

Assess and optimize financial processes including financial close, consolidation, budgeting, and management reporting .

Facilitate workshops to document and analyze key finance processes.

Develop strategic recommendations to improve operational efficiency and financial performance.

Support the selection and implementation of finance technology solutions .

Perform financial analysis, financial modeling, and profitability assessments.

Develop and present executive-level deliverables and recommendations.

Advise clients on financial management, governance, and organizational transformation best practices.

Contribute to service offering development and business development activities.

CPA designation or in progress .

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in consulting, corporate finance, or finance transformation.

Proven experience in finance process improvement and transformation .

Strong understanding of internal controls, risk management, and IFRS and/or ASPE .

Experience with budgeting, financial statements, financial performance management, and financial modeling.

Ability to translate business needs into practical, strategic solutions.

Excellent communication, workshop facilitation, and executive presentation skills.

Ability to manage multiple engagements and work with executive-level stakeholders.

French and English bilingualism strongly preferred.
