Controller

Our client, a rapidly growing and innovative technology company, is seeking a Controller to lead the accounting and finance function and partner closely with executive leadership. Responsibilities Lead all accounting operations, including general ledger, month-end close, revenue recognition, and financial reporting Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for leadership and board reporting Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, collections, and employee expense reimbursements Oversee tax registrations, filings, compliance, and coordination with external tax providers Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial planning activities Support board and investor reporting, including operating metrics, profitability analysis, and strategic financial insights Manage treasury activities, cash flow forecasting, and banking relationships Respond to audit, investor, and due diligence requests Design, implement, and strengthen internal controls, policies, and financial processes Drive process improvement initiatives, automation, and system enhancements Identify opportunities to leverage AI and technology to improve finance and accounting efficiency Partner cross-functionally to support business growth and operational decision-making Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Progressive accounting leadership experience with strong technical accounting knowledge Experience owning month-end close and financial statement preparation Budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis experience Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills Experience with ERP and accounting systems, including QuickBooks or similar platforms Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment Excellent communication skills and ability to work with executive leadership Interest in technology, automation, and AI-driven process improvements CPA designation or progress toward certification Startup or high-growth company experience Experience with inventory, equipment, manufacturing, or hardware-related accounting Experience implementing systems, controls, and scalable finance processes Familiarity with spend management tools and modern finance technology platforms Why Consider This Opportunity?
