Research Associate 2

Position Overview The Research Associate 2 performs complex laboratory procedures within the RUO Oncology Team, supporting research and development activities. Key Responsibilities Normalize plasma samples and extract nucleic acids from various biological materials using automated and manual methods Prepare libraries for next-generation sequencing platforms such as NovaSeq, ISeq, and Miseq Assess nucleic acid quality and quantity using specialized instruments Load libraries onto sequencing platforms, interpret data, and determine next steps Maintain laboratory equipment, track samples, and update records using LIMS, Google Sheets, and other software Review SOPs, suggest process improvements, and ensure compliance with regulations Handle sensitive PHI data securely and complete necessary training Work onsite, with flexibility for shift schedules Qualifications & Skills Masters degree or 3+ years research experience Proficiency in pipetting, nucleic acid techniques, and library prep Experience with sequencing platforms and automation is preferred Strong troubleshooting, communication, and data management skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Northshore Home Health Care
