• Early Morning Shift: 4:00 AM - 12:30 PM
• Evening Shift: 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM
• Overnight Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist to join a growing hospital laboratory team. In this role, you will obtain blood specimens and collect non-blood specimens such as urine, sputum, and throat swabs for laboratory testing. You will play a critical role in patient care by ensuring accurate specimen collection, processing, and preparation for in-house and reference laboratory testing.
Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and blood specimen collection on adult and pediatric patients.
• Collect non-blood specimens, including urine, sputum, and throat swabs.
• Conduct screening tests and accurately document and report results.
• Process and prepare specimens for laboratory testing.
• Package and prepare specimens for dispatch to reference laboratories.
• Provide excellent patient service while working efficiently in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Previous phlebotomy experience required.
• Proven experience performing venipuncture and blood draws.
• Ability to work independently in a busy hospital laboratory setting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to specimen quality.
• Ability to handle a high-volume workload while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
• Ability to work rotating weekends and assigned shift schedules.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, OK.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
