The Role

We're hiring a Project Manager / Controller to own the execution and financial performance of our highest-value projects and play a central role in developing the structure and systems that will define how Summit Prime GC operates as we grow.

You will be the connective tissue between the field and the front office — managing projects from kickoff to close, owning the numbers, leading client relationships, and directly influencing how this company scales.

What You'll Own

• Full project lifecycle — kickoff through completion and closeout
• Job costing, budget management, and margin performance
• Primary client relationship on key projects
• Coordination of internal teams and subcontractors
• Building scalable systems and processes as the company grows
• Oversight of field foremen, path toward managing regional operations

• Projects delivered on time and on budget — consistently
• Margins tracked, understood, and protected
• Clients feel taken care of and refer us again
• Operational structure supports more projects without proportional overhead
• Company systems are stronger because you helped build them

What We're Looking For

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (non-negotiable)
  • Equivalent acceptance is business ownership experience
• 3–5 years project management experience in residential construction
• Experience managing job costs, budgets, and subcontractor relationships
• Strong communication — client-facing role on major projects
• Denver-based or willing to relocate; comfortable with Colorado travel

Preferred

• Experience building internal processes and systems
• Familiarity with Colorado residential construction market
