Marketing & Communications Manager

Position Summary

inSIGHT Through Education seeks a creative, strategic, and highly organized Marketing & Communications Manager to lead the organization's marketing, communications, and brand initiatives. 

As the organization's primary storyteller, this individual will develop compelling content, strengthen brand awareness, and communicate the impact of our educational programs, fundraising initiatives, and community partnerships. Working closely with organizational leadership and external partners, the Marketing & Communications Manager will ensure consistent, engaging messaging across all platforms. 

Essential Responsibilities

Marketing & Brand Management

• Develop and implement an annual marketing and communications strategy aligned with organizational goals. 
• Maintain consistent branding, messaging, and visual identity across all communications. 
• Oversee the creation of marketing materials, including brochures, invitations, sponsorship materials, advertisements, signage, presentations, and annual reports. 
• Collaborate with the Graphic Designer to develop high-quality print and digital materials. 

Content Development & Digital Communications

• Write and edit newsletters, donor communications, campaign messaging, speeches, presentations, scripts, event materials, and other organizational content. 
• Develop compelling stories highlighting the impact of inSIGHT's programs, students, educators, donors, and community partners. 
• Manage website content and the organization's social media strategy, including content development, scheduling, engagement, and performance tracking. 
• Coordinate email communications and outreach through the organization's CRM platform. 
• Identify opportunities to strengthen digital engagement and expand organizational visibility. 

Public Relations & Media Production

• Serve as the primary point of contact for the organization's external public relations firm, coordinating media opportunities, interviews, press materials, and publicity initiatives. 
• Coordinate the hiring, scheduling, and logistics of photographers and videographers for educational programs, fundraising events, and other organizational needs. 
• Oversee the development and use of photography, video, and multimedia content to support marketing and communications initiatives. 

Collaboration & Organizational Support

• Partner with the Executive Director and leadership team to communicate organizational priorities and initiatives. 
• Work closely with the Director of Development to support fundraising campaigns, donor stewardship, and special events. 
• Collaborate with the Director of Education to promote educational programming and communicate its impact. 
• Develop communications plans for major organizational initiatives, events, and campaigns. 
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. 
• Support additional marketing and communications projects as needed. 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field preferred. 
• Minimum of three years of relevant professional experience. 
• Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and storytelling skills. 
• Experience managing websites, social media, digital communications, and CRM platforms. 
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365; experience coordinating with external creative professionals or PR agencies preferred. 
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, creativity, initiative, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, exempt position with a hybrid schedule. While much of the work may be performed remotely, the position requires periodic attendance at our West Palm Beach office and an active presence at educational programs, fundraising events, meetings, and other organizational activities throughout Palm Beach and Broward Counties. 

Candidates should reside in or near Palm Beach or Broward County and have reliable transportation. xhyhwjd Occasional evening and weekend hours are required.
