The Graphic Designer & Multimedia Specialist will be responsible for developing and maintaining a consistent, professional brand image across a wide range of print and digital marketing materials. This individual will create logos and branding assets, design major event publications and guides, capture event photography and videography, and produce compelling content that supports marketing and engagement efforts.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical design skills with creativity, organization, and the ability to consistently deliver high-quality work under deadline.

Key Responsibilities

Branding & Graphic Design

• Create logos, visual identities, and branding materials for events, programs, and campaigns.
• Design marketing collateral including brochures, advertisements, flyers, signage, social media graphics, email graphics, and promotional materials.
• Maintain brand consistency across all printed and digital assets.
• Develop creative concepts and graphics using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and related design tools.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate ideas into compelling visual communications.

Publication & Magazine Design

• Lead the design and production of large-scale event guides, magazines, and publications.
• Design and manage layouts for major event publications, including guides exceeding 80 pages.
• Incorporate advertisements, photography, graphics, and editorial content into polished final products.
• Prepare print-ready files and ensure quality standards are maintained throughout production.
• Manage multiple publication deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

Photography & Videography

• Capture professional event photography for marketing, social media, and promotional use.
• Record and edit basic video content for social media platforms, event recaps, and marketing campaigns.
• Edit photos and video content using industry-standard software, including Adobe Premiere Pro or similar platforms.
• Organize and maintain digital content libraries of photos and video assets.
• Ensure all visual content reflects brand standards and quality expectations.

Qualifications

Required

• Previous professional graphic design experience producing print and digital marketing materials.
• Demonstrated experience designing event publications, magazines, guides, or similar multi-page print projects.
• Advanced proficiency with Adobe InDesign.
• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
• Experience creating social media graphics and digital marketing assets.
• Photography and videography experience, including content editing.
• Strong portfolio showcasing publication design, branding work, and marketing materials.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Preferred

• Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro or similar video editing software.
• Background supporting events, associations, chambers, nonprofits, or marketing-focused organizations.
• Experience coordinating projects from concept through final production.
• Familiarity with print production processes and vendor coordination.
