Job Responsibilities

• Conduct standard and advanced laboratory testsencompassing chemistry, hematology, immunology, and morewhile adhering strictly to established protocols.
• Review results for accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and manage routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for laboratory analyses as needed.
• Meticulously document all processes, provide training to new employees or interns, and help uphold the laboratory's quality assurance standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment while complying with all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Required Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certification Requirements

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of employment.
• Maintain current certification throughout tenure.
