Position Overview Department: Outpatient Physical Therapy Schedule: Day/Evening shifts, 8 hours, Monday to Friday Facility: Orthopedic Center Location: Auburn, ME 04210 Sign-on Bonus: Up to $10,000! Position Highlights * Outpatient setting within a hospital environment. * Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system integrated with all healthcare providers in the region. * Practice hours are weekdays from 7 AM to 5:30 PM. * Focus on personalized patient care. * One-on-one therapy sessions. * No overlapping appointments or double bookings. * Schedule managed by therapists. Newly graduated Physical Therapists are encouraged to apply. Opportunities for mentorship, training, and professional development are available. Key Responsibilities The role involves delivering medically prescribed physical therapy services aimed at evaluating, treating, and restoring patient function, enhancing mobility, alleviating pain, and preventing disabilities. Care is centered around the patient and adheres to hospital policies, regulatory standards, and evidence-based practices. * Conduct patient evaluations and physical therapy assessments. * Create and execute tailored treatment plans. * Administer therapeutic interventions for rehabilitation and functional enhancement. * Track patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary. * Educate patients and their families regarding treatment strategies and recovery objectives. * Accurately document evaluations, treatments, and patient outcomes. * Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams. * Ensure compliance with regulatory, licensing, and patient safety standards. Qualifications Education, Experience, and Training: * Degree in Physical Therapy (Bachelor's, Master's, Doctorate, or Certificate). * Valid state Physical Therapy license. * Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification (AHA) upon hire and must be maintained.
