Job Title: .NET Developer

Job Code: AZ 13412 Client: State of Arizona – Arizona Department of Public Safety (AZDPS) Location: Phoenix, AZ Work Arrangement: Onsite for the first month, then Hybrid – 2 days onsite/week Work Hours: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Duration: 4-Month Contract-to-Hire (FTE) Work Location: 2222 W. Encanto Blvd, Phoenix, AZ 85009 Closing Date: 09/01/2026 at 4:00 PM

Position Overview

The State of Arizona is seeking a .NET Developer to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain web applications using .NET 8+, C#, MVC, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL.

The developer will collaborate with developers, testers, and stakeholders while using Azure DevOps and Git. The role will also involve troubleshooting, debugging, technical support, and writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy web applications using .NET Core, C#, MVC, and JavaScript.

Develop and maintain applications using .NET 8.0 or higher.

Collaborate with developers, testers, and business stakeholders.

Utilize Azure DevOps and Git for development and source control.

Troubleshoot and debug application issues.

Provide technical support and perform root-cause analysis.

Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

Participate in development, testing, deployment, and application support activities.

Required Skills

4+ years of software development experience, specifically with .NET 8.0 or higher.

Strong C# development experience.

Strong experience with MVC.

Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL.

Experience with Azure DevOps and Git.

Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Primary Skills
