About The Position Established Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) seeking an experienced DDS or DMD to join a mission-driven organization providing comprehensive dental care to underserved and low-income populations in the Dayton, Ohio area. This opportunity is ideal for a confident, self-sufficient provider who is comfortable practicing independently in a community health setting. Position Requirements DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school Active Ohio dental license or ability to obtain Valid DEA license Current CPR/AED certification Previous clinical experience required — no new graduates Experience working with underserved or low-income populations preferred Ability to work independently with limited onsite mentorship Responsibilities Include Providing comprehensive general dentistry services within scope of training Maintaining a full patient schedule in both clinic and community settings Utilizing modern diagnostic and treatment techniques Prescribing medications and treatment plans as appropriate Coordinating care with specialists and support staff Ensuring compliance with quality, safety, infection control, and credentialing standards Delivering compassionate, accessible, and efficient patient care About Dayton, Ohio Located in southwest Ohio, Dayton offers an affordable cost of living, a strong sense of community, and easy access to larger metropolitan areas such as Cincinnati and Columbus.
