Locums Audiologist Yakima, WA (WA License Preferred) Why This Role

• Full-time, clinic-based Audiology
• No call, weekends, or inpatient responsibilities

• Broad patient population from newborns through seniors
• Epic EMR with established clinic support
Assignment Details
• Start Date: ASAP following credentialing
• End Date: Ongoing
• Schedule: Monday ÄìFriday, 8:00 AM Äì5:00 PM
• Setting: Outpatient ENT clinic
• Patient Volume: Approximately 16 Äì20 per day
• Patient Population: Newborn through geriatric
• Call: None
• EMR: Epic
• Support Team: Five MAs and five office staff
• Credentialing: Approximately 90 Äì120 days
• Expedited Privileges: May be available with a clean history
• Temporary Privileges: Unavailable
Requirements
• Master Äôs degree or Doctor of Audiology from an approved program
• Clinical practicum experience
• Active Washington Audiologist license preferred
• Candidates needing licensure must obtain it before starting
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology required for master Äôs-trained candidates
• Current BLS
• Diagnostic Audiology and hearing-aid experience
Clinical Details
• Perform pure-tone air and bone-conduction testing
• Perform speech and impedance audiometry
• Interpret results for patients and referring physicians
• Recommend medical follow-up, hearing aids, and hearing protection
• Conduct hearing-aid evaluations
• Select, fit, and program amplification devices
• Educate patients on hearing-aid operation and maintenance
• Provide routine maintenance and troubleshooting
• No admissions, call, APP supervision, or teaching responsibilities
