Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy
• Valid Occupational Therapy license for practice within the state
• Previous experience within a school or pediatric setting is highly valued
• Strong collaboration and communication abilities
• Proficient in assessing, planning, and implementing therapy goals for diverse student needs
• Demonstrated ability to adapt interventions for students with varied learning styles and challenges

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative Occupational Therapy services for students as identified in Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Employ effective assessment tools to evaluate students’ fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation skills
• Develop and monitor progress on measurable goals in coordination with educators, families, and other support staff
• Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and legal requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based decision-making
• Offer strategies, resources, and training to teachers and parents aimed at fostering student success
