Registered Nurse - NICU

Location: Frisco, TX

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 7A - 7P, Weekend Every Other

Job Description: Join an innovative and collaborative team in our newly established NICU. This unit is equipped with the latest technology and staffed by a skilled group of professionals who prioritize a family-centered approach to care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care for neonates requiring CPAP or ventilation, including stabilization and attending deliveries.
• Assist with procedures such as line placements and circumcisions.
• Utilize advanced medical equipment including GE Bedside Monitors, Natus Neoblue phototherapy lights, and medication pumps.
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech and CPNS.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active RN License (temp license not accepted)
• BLS and NRP certifications
• STABLE certification
• Minimum of 2 years of hospital or specialty experience in a NICU setting
• Experience with central lines and developmental care preferred

Dress Code:

• Scrubs: Royal Blue Medical City Healthcare Scrubs
• Nail Policy: Clean and healthy, no nail polish or artificial nails
• Hair: Neat and clean, no extreme styles or colors
• Tattoos: Must be covered whenever possible
• Piercings: Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
