ABA Behavior Technician

We are looking for individuals who want to apply their ABA knowledge in a different setting and work with individuals with developmental disabilities. This role requires traveling to assigned clients and a Bachelor’s degree. Responsibilities Conduct initial assessments and make recommendations based on those assessments. Analyze data, write, and revise behavior-analytic treatment plans, train others to implement components of treatment plans, and oversee the implementation of treatment plans. Provide direct services daily to clients with a variety of needs, including improvements in organizational functioning (e.g., staff training, behavior management and behavior interventions), skill deficits (e.g., communication and adaptive behavior), and problem behavior (e.g., aggression and self-injurious behavior). Develop, review, and revise behavior assessment and support plans for new residents, annuals, or 30-day intervals, including functional assessments, intervention strategies, proactive strategies, and replacement behavior. Document all client sessions including case notes, date/time, and duration spent with each client. Travel to each assigned location to serve clients. Other duties as assigned. Education and Experience Required: Bachelor's degree. Preferred: Fluent in Spanish. Required: Two or more years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, and experience in designing and/or implementing behavior modification intervention services. Must pass and maintain a criminal history background clearance. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times. Maintain the ability to commute to each assigned location in the Central Valley. Prolonged periods of driving. Other Requirements Must have a valid Driver’s License. Must have active auto insurance. Must have own working vehicle.
