Therapist - Respiratory Therapist

Job Summary:

The Respiratory Therapist provides specialized respiratory care to patients, ensuring effective treatment and compliance with clinical standards. This role involves direct patient interaction, assessment, and interventions critical to respiratory health.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer invasive and non-invasive respiratory therapies as prescribed by physicians.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient responses to treatments and adjust procedures accordingly.
  
  
• 
  Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and clinical observations.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
  
  
• 
  Ensure all certifications and licenses are active and compliant with facility requirements.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to safety protocols, including drug screens and background checks, as mandated by the facility.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Active Ohio RRT license and NBRC certification required.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in respiratory therapy.
  
  
• 
  BLS certification must be current and in-hand at the time of submission.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrated ability to work night shifts (4x12 hours) and weekends as needed.
  
  
• 
  Successful completion of background checks, drug screens, and compliance requirements.
  
  
• 
  Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
