Learning Facilitator

Hybrid schedule with 4 days onsite and 1 day remote. Only candidates living in the Louisville Metropolitan area will be considered for this position. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Partner closely with HR and L&OD Director to implement, support, and facilitate learning and development initiatives. Assist with implementation and review of learning programs and instructor evaluation reports. Conduct train-the-trainer sessions and provide ongoing support for SCS colleagues conducting training as adjunct facilitators for the SCS Training Institute. Offer direction and support for learning and development programs and practices in partnership with HR, L&OD team, and business leaders. Assist with instructional design of new and existing learning programs. Occasionally deliver standard behavioral health training for external community partners and other organizations as requested. Ensure all L&OD tasks adhere to the values of SCS and guiding principles. Directly support a positive and inclusive organizational culture by utilizing best practices when executing L&OD tasks. Assist with other administrative and logistical tasks associated with learning and development programs. EDUCATION Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of in-depth specialized training and/or work experience in at least one (preferably both) of the following areas: HR, Organizational Development, training, and/or facilitation; Counseling psychology, social work, or other specialization in mental health, addiction, or developmental disabilities. Master’s degree in a relevant field preferred. EXPERIENCE Five years of experience in at least one (preferably both) of the following areas: HR, OD, or training and/or facilitation; Counseling psychology; social work; or other mental health, addiction, or developmental disabilities specialization. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Position requires lifting of 20 pounds maximum, with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds, and significant periods of standing. Occasional minor discomforts from continuous exposure to video display terminal.
