Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse position available in Palm Springs, California. The role involves assessing, planning, and delivering direct clinical care to patients in a step-down or intermediate care environment. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of employment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license, minimum of zero years of experience, appropriate certification(s) if applicable, and valid state licensing requirements.
- Responsibilities include providing safe and high-quality nursing care, supervising staff, and supporting clinical operations within the unit.
- Additional Information: The role involves supervision of staff at the unit level, ensuring quality standards, competency, and resource management. The environment includes a patient ratio of 1:4, with 29 beds in the emergency department, and monitoring responsibilities. Employees will check into the front lobby, ask for Human Resources with security, and utilize employee parking. Clocking in and out is the employee's responsibility.
