Senior Associate - Commercial Real Estate Attorney

Overview Our Boston, MA client is actively seeking a Senior Associate - Commercial Real Estate Attorney to join their Real Estate and Hospitality practice. Responsibilities Draft and negotiate documents for the full spectrum of commercial real estate transactions, including development, purchases and sales, and lease agreements. Manage due diligence work and closing of these and related real estate transactions. Handle M&A transactions, bank and equity financings, and guide clients through the purchase, sale, or financing of businesses and commercial real estate. Qualifications JD and a minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions. Significant experience representing clients in complex commercial real estate transactions, including acquisition, construction, permanent and refinancing loans, and lines of credit on behalf of lenders and/or borrowers. Experience with purchases and sales, due diligence and leasing is required. Experience working with hotel and restaurant industries, labs, retail, office, and large multifamily sectors. Skills: Exceptional drafting Ability to work independently and take ownership of assignments Respond quickly, multitask Key Details Location: Downtown Boston, MA Work Environment: ~3 or 4 days per week on-site Compensation: $150,000 – $180,000, subject to years of experience, plus up to 45% yearly bonus (based on billable hours) Office Culture: Brand new office build-out with amazing views, state‑of‑the‑art on‑site gym (with wellness rooms), coffee bar, rooftop lounge area, team breakout areas for leisure activities.
