Work Environment

This role offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to engage with clients from the comfort of your home. Our team is dedicated to embracing innovative technology to facilitate seamless communication and support. You will primarily work standard business hours, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional evening or weekend hours required based on client needs. Your schedule will allow for flexibility to ensure that you can provide timely interventions and assessments whenever necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to understand the unique needs and conditions of clients struggling with substance use disorders.
  • Develop and implement customized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams, addressing specific recovery goals.
  • Provide individual and group counseling to clients, offering therapeutic interventions and emotional support to facilitate their recovery.
  • Regularly evaluate client progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving needs and challenges.
  • Advocate for client access to essential resources, including community support services, enabling them to thrive beyond the detoxification process.
  • Engage with families to offer guidance, education, and strategies for supporting their loved ones in recovery.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions, assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, ensuring a coordinated approach to care that promotes client health and recovery outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will focus on a diverse population of individuals undergoing detoxification and early recovery from substance use disorders. This role involves nurturing clients who may present with co-occurring mental health issues, thus requiring a holistic understanding of both addiction and psychological factors. Your work will help clients navigate the complexities of recovery, providing essential skills and insights that empower them toward lasting change.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • A valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience in social work, preferably in a behavioral health or substance use disorder setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of motivational interviewing techniques and evidence-based practices related to addiction recovery.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with clients, families, and team members.
  • Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) software and committed to maintaining accurate client documentation.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working in a detoxification or substance use treatment environment.

Compensation and Benefits
