Plant Controls Electrician (CNC & Injection Molding)Keep two manufacturing plants running at peak performance. In this role, you’ll own the electrical health of CNC machinery, injection molding equipment, and power/control cabinets—executing precision troubleshooting, clean wiring, and both preventive and predictive maintenance to sustain reliable, high-quality production.A day in the lifeYour morning starts by reviewing maintenance requests and prioritizing with your supervisor. You’ll dive into electrical diagnostics—reading schematics, checking alarm codes, and metering voltage, resistance, and amperage to pinpoint root causes. Midday may find you rebuilding or wiring sub-cabinets, tuning PLC I/O, or restoring a VFD-driven axis on a CNC. Afternoons often focus on planned maintenance: cleaning cabinets, verifying terminations, inspecting sensors, and aligning machines to prevent the next unplanned stop.
