Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Travel Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The ideal candidate will have strong critical thinking and EKG interpretation skills, with a preference for those with prior experience in titrating cardiac medications. You will be a crucial part of a dynamic team in a unit that prides itself on excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and monitor patient conditions regularly.
• Administer medications and provide treatments as per protocols.
• Perform occasional procedures such as paracentesis or thoracentesis.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
• Experience in a high-acuity nursing setting preferred.
