Hiring for Assemblers in Simpsonville, SC Pays Up to 19/hr | 1st and 2nd Shift Available

Assemble frames, sub-assemblies, cooling systems, and enclosure components using hand and power tools. Install mechanical hardware, busbars, brackets, cable trays, and structural components according to engineering drawings and build instructions. Perform alignment of mechanical parts and follow electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. Route, cut, strip, crimp, and terminate wires and harnesses. Install electrical components, document results, and communicate issues to engineering or project leads. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions accurately. Conduct in-process quality inspections to ensure assembly meets all standards. Use a tablet to find job orders and lift up to 50 lbs. Assemble, modify, rework, and reassemble production components using drawings, pick tickets, process documentation, and verbal instructions. Perform repetitive and skilled assembly operations to meet quality and production standards, conduct basic quality checks, and identify defects or non-conformances. Utilize hand and power tools such as power screwdrivers, wire strippers, and crimpers.

Experience in mechanical, electrical, and electronic assembly is essential. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics. Skill in using hand and power tools for assembly tasks.

Work hours are from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM and from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with a current schedule of working 10-hour days. Employees should be open to overtime opportunities. The work takes place in two locations: one in Simpsonville and another in Fountain Inn off Southchase Blvd.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Simpsonville, SC. The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
