Job Title

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 3x12-Hour Shifts, 7:00–19:30

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in labor, preterm labor, triage, and low-risk antepartum settings across 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms
• Circulate and scrub for OB-GYN surgeries, including pre-op and post-op care
• Attend low-risk and high-risk deliveries; support couplet care and transition nursery as needed
• Administer blood and blood products, and manage specialty infusions including Heparin, Insulin, and Magnesium Sulfate
• Operate and monitor specialty equipment including epidural pumps, PCA pumps, syringe pumps, wound vac, and cooling/warming blankets
• Float to Post-Partum or NICU based on unit need and individual skill set; maintain staffing ratios of 1:1–3

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; compact license accepted
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM), NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
• Must not be a first-time traveler
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience with high-risk deliveries, GYN surgeries, and transition nursery care
• Familiarity with couplet care and NICU-level skill competencies
