Legal Assistant

Maschoff Brennan is an intellectual property and complex litigation law firm with offices in Utah, California and New York. We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Legal Assistant to join us in our Salt Lake City office. The minimum requirements for this position are a high school education plus two years of law office experience or two years of post-secondary education. IP experience preferred but not required. The successful candidate will support Attorneys with various patent prosecution items, including electronically filing patent applications, preparing office action response shells and other application drafts for attorney review, process office action responses, prepare correspondence to clients, maintain accurate file records, process issue fees, and a variety of patent prosecution-related administrative support tasks. Successful candidates must be self-starters, organized, computer literate with high proficiency in Microsoft applications including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, have excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced intellectual property environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
