Location: Louisville, KY


Pay: $2,041.20 weekly


Shifts: 12-hour shifts with weekend rotation every third weekend


Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN specialized in Child Psychiatry for a travel assignment in a dynamic and supportive environment in Louisville, KY. This role involves working in a busy unit catering to children aged 3-10 with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Qualified applicants will have previous travel experience and the ability to handle challenging situations with composure and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities of the Peace: 3 East Child RN

• Provide nursing care to children with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• Perform de-escalation techniques and physical holds when necessary
• Communicate status regularly to families and parents
• Administer IM injections and use EMR for patient documentation
• Coordinate with MHTs and participate in the safety and well-being of patients

Requirements of the Peace: 3 East Child RN

• Active RN license with BLS certification
• 6 months of experience in children/adolescent care
• CPI certification obtained onsite
• Experience in managing multiple escalated situations simultaneously
• Proficient in verbal de-escalation and use of restraint techniques
