Structure: Temp to Perm

Location: Lawrence, MA (100% on-site)

Compensation: $36 per hour/$75,000 annually

Summary:
Detail-oriented accounting professional with experience supporting real estate operations through full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, and process improvement. Known for strong organizational skills, accuracy, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Accounting

Managed full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment posting, and collections follow-up
Performed monthly bank and credit card reconciliations across multiple entities, including properties and trusts
Executed month-end close procedures and prepared monthly financial statements for management review
Maintained and recorded investment activity, including portfolio tracking and charitable contributions
Calculated and invoiced tenant charges, including utilities, snow removal, insurance, and real estate taxes
Prepared and tracked tenant security deposits, including returns and compliance documentation
Supported commission calculations and quarterly reporting
Analyzed property tax assessments and identified year-over-year variances

Systems & Process Improvement

Utilized property management/accounting software to maintain accurate financial records and documentation
Implemented and improved workflows for invoice processing, document management, and financial tracking
Ensured proper digital recordkeeping of leases, invoices, and financial documents

Administrative Support

General administrative support to Senior Management
Assisted with lease preparation, amendments, and tenant documentation
Managed collections efforts, including outreach on past-due accounts
Coordinated insurance documentation, including certificates of insurance (COIs)
Supported tenant relations by addressing inquiries and resolving issues
Maintained internal tracking systems, calendars, and task management tools
Assisted with property listings and general administrative support as needed
