Financial Analyst

Plant Financial AnalystThe Plant Financial Analyst provides financial analysis, reporting, and decision support to manufacturing operations. This role partners closely with plant leadership to evaluate operating performance, develop forecasts, identify cost improvement opportunities, and ensure compliance with corporate financial requirements. The position offers valuable opportunities to develop technical, analytical, and leadership skills while gaining broad exposure to a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities:Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly financial results, forecasts, and key performance indicators; communicate insights and recommendations to managementSupport the development and execution of Business Plans, Model Year Budgets, forecasts, and financial planning activitiesCoordinate with corporate finance teams to meet reporting requirements, deadlines, and financial objectivesPartner with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and other cross-functional teams to drive cost reduction and continuous improvement initiativesAssist with special projects, financial analyses, and ad hoc reporting requests as neededWhat You Will Learn:Perform Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) testing and support compliance with internal control requirementsPrepare accurate and timely month-end close reporting, journal entries, and account reconciliationsManage recurring financial processes, including overtime reporting, manpower allocations, labor analysis, and other operational reporting requirementsUtilize financial systems and reporting tools, including SAP, Essbase, Power BI, and Microsoft Office applications, to support business operations and reporting needsBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related fieldUnderstanding of fundamental finance and accounting principlesAbility to learn and apply budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and month-end close processesProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and WordStrong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple prioritiesPreferred Qualifications:MBA or other advanced business degree1 or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including internships or co-op assignmentsExperience with SAP, Hyperion Essbase, Power BI, Snowflake, or other financial reporting and analytics platformsKnowledge of financial planning and analysis (FP&A), cost accounting, operational performance reporting, and manufacturing finance conceptsExperience creating reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support business decision-makingDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively across functions and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
