Billing Clerk - Temp-to-Hire
Location: San Antonio, TX 78238
Pay: $21.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Seeking a detail-oriented Billing Clerk to support the billing department with patient accounts and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Answer patient billing calls and assist with billing inquiries
• Post and process patient payments and refunds
• Maintain accurate patient billing records and update account information
• Explain billing statements and patient financial responsibility
• Provide general administrative support to the billing team

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of medical billing or collections experience in a physician's office or healthcare setting
• Working knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 coding
• Experience with EMR software (eClinicalWorks preferred)
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Billing and coding certification or coursework preferred
• Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills
