FocusOne is located in the Jersey Village/Cypress Area. We currently have openings for experienced licensed loan officers. One of the advantages of working at FocusOne Mortgage Solutions is access to leads from our Credit Union Partners, although we do encourage you to bring your own leads as well. We handle a variety of loans, including portfolios, brokers, FNMA, and Government Loans. FocusOne Mortgage Solutions is licensed in Texas, Missouri, Illinois, Louisiana, New Mexico, and Ohio, and expanding to other markets. Job Description:

The Mortgage Loan Officer responds to customer inquiries and referrals that are generated from both their contacts and from FocusOne Mortgage Solutions' business channels. The Loan Officer interviews prospective borrowers to analyze financial and credit data, determine customer financing objectives, advise customers of product/pricing policies and guidelines, and gather any additional required information. The Loan Office maintains a thorough knowledge of lending programs, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. The MLO continually demonstrates a commitment to professional ethics, complying with all Federal and State compliance policies and adhering to HMDA requirements.

The Mortgage Loan Officer:

• Develops and maintains successful relationships with business referral sources, existing and prospective, along with FocusOne Mortgage Solutions business partners.
• Prospects of new mortgage lending opportunities.
• Meets with customers as necessary during various stages of the loan process.
• Utilizes training materials, reference tools, and other resources to provide accurate and up-to-date loan program/policy information to both external customers and internal business partners.
• Provides complete loan applications to be put into processing.
• Ensures exceptional customer experience by overseeing the loan process from origination to close and providing ongoing communication to customers and business partners.
• Oversees and ensures the successful completion of all assigned Mortgage Loan Officer Training activities.

Qualifications:

• An NMLS license is required; if one has no NMLS license, one must obtain one within 90 days of employment.
• Strong customer service and phone skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Bilingual preferred
