Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: Mids - 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our emergency department team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency nursing, with experience in managing multiple patients in a fast-paced environment. This position does not require call, floating, or block scheduling, providing a consistent work-life balance.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting.
• Manage a patient ratio of 4:1.
• Collaborate with medical staff to assess and implement care plans.
• Perform emergency procedures and administer medications as needed.
• Utilize EMR system (MedHost) for patient documentation and records management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN license valid to work in the State of Texas.
• ACLS, PALS, ENPC, TNCC certifications (AHA or ARC).
• Standard emergency nursing skills and ultrasound IV preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in emergency nursing.
• Travelers must be greater than 50 miles from the facility.
