Sr. Litigation Attorney

Our client a prestigious boutique law firm and is now accepting applications for a senior level litigation associate to join a team of experienced attorneys. This is a wonderful firm to work for and work life balance with no billable hour requirements. Mostly hybrid but we need a local person who can do occasional court appearances.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

*Represent clients in: Real Estate and Business-related litigation matters, including contract disputes.*Case Management: Oversee and manage a diverse caseload, ensuring timely progress and adherence to deadlines.*Drafting: Prepare and draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents.*Legal Research: Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.*Depositions: Conduct and defend depositions of witnesses, clients, and experts to gather relevant information and evidence. Prepare witnesses for depositions and provide guidance on effective testimony.*Communications: Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates on their cases.*ADR: Negotiate settlements and facilitate alternative dispute resolutions when appropriate.*Appearances: Appear and represent clients in court hearings, trials, and administrative hearings.

Collaboration: Collaborate with the legal team to develop strategies and ensuresmooth case management and client service.

Continuing Education: Engage in continuing legal education and professionaldevelopment opportunities. Stay up to date with the latest legal developments and precedents in the relevant practice areas.

QUALIFICATIONS:

*Juris Doctorate from an ABA accredited law school*

Active license to practice law in California, and in good standing

*7+ years of experience in litigation*

Preference for candidates with experience in real estate matters

*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a professional demeanor*

Maintain confidentiality in all client matters

*Ability to work independently and engage critical-thinking skills*

COMPENSATION

*$205,000/year plus benefits*

Pay: $190,000.00 - $205,000.00 per year
