Facility Operations Specialist

You will serve as a Facility Operations Specialist in the Facilities Management and Engineering Division, Infrastructure Safety and Business Operations Department of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV POINT MUGU. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band (DA-03) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to the following: Performing routine facility maintenance, operations, and repair tasks across multiple trades, including plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and basic electrical or HVAC troubleshooting; Conducting routine facility inspections to identify necessary repairs, health, and safety issues, while maintaining accurate maintenance logs; Identifying and analyzing facility requirements to develop plans for space allocation, modification, replacement, or new construction in support of organizational missions; Preparing basic work requests, serving as a project technical liaison, and coordinating service actions with external providers to ensure the successful execution of facility sustainment and improvement programs.
