About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join its executive leadership team. The COO will be a strategic partner to the CEO, responsible for translating the company's vision into operational execution and overseeing core functions such as sales, rental, service, parts, logistics, and fleet management. The successful candidate will be tasked with driving operational excellence, implementing scalable processes, and leading cross-functional teams to ensure profitability, efficiency, and sustainable growth. Key responsibilities include strategic leadership, process improvement, team management, data-driven decision-making, asset and inventory management, financial stewardship, and support for strategic growth initiatives. Applicants for the COO position at the company should have a minimum of 10-15 years' progressive leadership experience in heavy equipment, construction machinery, or industrial distribution environments. A Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field is required, with an MBA strongly preferred. The role demands a leader with a deep understanding of dealership operations, including rental fleets, depreciation strategies, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading multidisciplinary teams, exceptional executive skills, and a hands-on yet strategic leadership style. Strong analytical acumen and a history of data-driven improvement initiatives are essential, as is the ability to build and maintain executive-level relationships with customers, OEMs, and strategic suppliers.
