Logistics Manager

We export food and beverage products to more than 80 international markets, where every shipment requires precise coordination between suppliers, carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and customers. One missed detail can delay an entire order. We're looking for a Logistics Manager to lead the execution of our global export logistics operation. This role is responsible for ensuring every shipment is delivered on time, in full, safely, compliantly, and at the optimal cost. What you'll do Own Global Logistics Execution Oversee the end-to-end execution of international shipments from booking through final delivery. Coordinate ocean freight, drayage, container management, warehousing, and transportation partners to ensure seamless execution. Ensure every shipment is delivered On Time, In Full (OTIF) while meeting customer expectations. Balance service, speed, and cost to optimize overall logistics performance. Ensure Export Compliance Ensure all export documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with U.S. and destination-country regulations. Oversee commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, health certificates, bills of lading, and other required export documentation. Maintain compliance with Incoterms, customs requirements, and customer-specific documentation standards. Reduce operational risk through disciplined documentation and process management. Build and maintain strong relationships with freight forwarders, ocean carriers, customs brokers, and logistics partners. Monitor carrier performance against service expectations and contractual commitments. Support freight rate negotiations, shipment consolidations, and cost optimization initiatives. Validate freight invoices and accessorial charges to ensure accurate billing and budget performance. Act as the central point of coordination when shipment issues arise. Resolve carrier delays, customs holds, documentation discrepancies, temperature excursions, and transportation challenges quickly and effectively. Communicate proactively with customers, suppliers, carriers, and internal stakeholders throughout the resolution process. Conduct root cause analysis and implement improvements that reduce recurring issues. Evaluate logistics processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and customer service. Develop standardized workflows that support ATI's continued growth. Deliver accurate operational reporting and performance metrics to leadership. Support quarterly and annual operational initiatives through disciplined execution. What you'll bring Experience managing international logistics, export operations, freight forwarding, or transportation. Strong understanding of export documentation, Incoterms, customs compliance, ocean freight, and international shipping. Experience working with carriers, customs brokers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders across complex international shipments. You're likely someone who... Minimal travel may be required. You'll work closely with Procurement, Supply Chain, Sales, Operations, Finance, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and transportation partners to ensure exceptional execution across ATI's global logistics network. This role reports to the Head of Operations and is critical to delivering the exceptional service and reliability our customers expect.
