Description General Responsibilities : Instructor to teach one or more of the following courses: Blueprint Reading, Manufacturing Skills, Machining, Basic Tools, Basic Skills, Measuring, Maintenance, Production, etc. Will be working in a team environment utilizing effective communication skills; working independently; exercising sound judgment. Must be able to develop programs and curricula to meet industry needs; possess proficient presentation skills. Custom training will be provided to companies in the service area of FDTC, as well as, open enrollment classes, when applicable.
Examples of Duties Job Functions : The same as listed under General Responsibilities.
Typical Qualifications Minimum Requirements : Ability teach one or more of the courses in the related field of Industry Manufacturing; be able to develop programs and curricula to meet industry needs; have excellent presentation skills. Experience with Blueprint Reading, Manufacturing Skills, Machining, Basic Tools, Basic Skills, Measuring, Maintenance and Production. One - three years' experience and extensive knowledge in one or more of the related fields of Industry/Manufacturing skills topics. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills; excellent communication skills (oral and written); ability to work well without close supervision; willingness to be a team player.
