About the Role:

The Quality Control Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring that all transportation and warehousing operations meet stringent quality standards and regulatory requirements. This position is responsible for overseeing quality assurance processes, conducting final inspections, and managing document control to maintain compliance and operational excellence. The coordinator will lead auditing activities and implement corrective and preventive actions to address any quality issues, thereby minimizing risks and enhancing product reliability. By collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, the role ensures that product specifications and quality systems are consistently adhered to throughout the supply chain. Ultimately, the Quality Control Coordinator drives continuous improvement initiatives that support customer satisfaction and organizational success within the transportation and warehousing industry.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance within the transportation, warehousing, or logistics industry.
• Proven knowledge of quality systems, auditing procedures, and document control practices.
• Strong understanding of product specifications and materials testing methodologies.
• Experience with corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Quality Management such as ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA).
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other relevant quality management standards.
• Experience working with transportation and warehousing software systems.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct and oversee final inspections of products and materials to verify compliance with established quality standards and product specifications.
• Manage and maintain document control systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date quality records and audit trails.
• Perform internal and external quality audits to assess adherence to quality systems and regulatory requirements.
• Identify non-conformances and lead the development and implementation of corrective and preventive actions to resolve quality issues.
• Collaborate with suppliers, production teams, and logistics personnel to ensure quality standards are integrated throughout the transportation and warehousing processes.
• Monitor materials testing procedures and results to validate product integrity and performance.
• Prepare detailed quality reports and communicate findings to management and relevant stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing quality data and recommending process enhancements.

The required skills such as Quality Assurance, Final Inspection, and Quality Control are applied daily to verify that all products and processes meet rigorous standards, ensuring safety and compliance in transportation and warehousing operations.
