Lab Test Technician

Location: Santa Clara CA (Onsite)

Job Description: We really need someone with semiconductor test experience who can also handle simple machining, electrical assembly, and computer tasks

Role Responsibilities

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Teams).
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong oral/written communication.
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, positive attitude, and team player.
• Ability to work effectively with personnel at all levels.
• Strong multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
• Professional and articulate when dealing with internal and external customers.
• Ability to identify, resolve, and initiate RMA, Credit Memo, Accounts Payable/Receivable, and invoice issues with vendors.

Lab Support

• Conduct bi-weekly audits.
• Participate in 6S activities.
• Perform routine inventory management using multiple tracking and database tools.

Candidate Experience

Strong knowledge of laser & optics and circuits.

Hands-on experience with DWDM transmitter/receiver assemblies, AWG, EDFA, couplers, splitters, isolators, and clock data recovery.

• Skilled in using instruments such as:
• Optical Spectrum Analyzers
• Tunable Laser Source
• BERT
• Optical Fiber Fusion Splicers
• OTDR
• Optical Multimeter
• Optical/Electrical amplifiers
• Function generators
• Polarization analyzers
• Laboratory operations, setup, and inspection equipment (microscope).
• PCB layout design and schematic activities using Cadence Capture and PCB Editor v16.6.
• Soldering and testing of TOSA/ROSA ICR assemblies.
