Project Landscape Architect

Brief Description For more than 60 years, Barton & Loguidice, D.P.C., has served the consulting engineering needs of municipal, industrial and institutional clients across the northeast. We are a growing multi-disciplined firm of professional engineers, architects, environmental scientists, geologists, planners and landscape architects headquartered in Syracuse, NY, with branch offices throughout New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Connecticut and Maine. B&L specializes in transportation engineering, water supply, wastewater management, solid waste management, land planning and site design, environmental services, facilities engineering, land surveying and asset management. Position We are currently seeking a Project Landscape Architect for a full‑time position in our Glastonbury, CT office. This position will be located within our Sustainable Planning & Design discipline. Responsibilities Responsibilities include: data collection & analysis, study preparation, design calculations, estimates, production of specifications and design drawings, and onsite verification of construction projects for compliance with plans and specifications. Specific assignments may include developing site layout and grading plans, stormwater calculations, preparation of Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans and Drainage Reports, flood modeling, erosion control design, and site utility design. Requirements Bachelors or Masters degree in Landscape Architecture. 4-8 years' of prior consulting work experience. Experience in site design, drainage analysis and design, preparation of plans, specs, quantity and cost estimates, etc. AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation experience a huge plus. Applicants with PLA license in Connecticut, or ability to obtain, are preferred. Estimated Pay Range $80,000 - $90,000/year. Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, geographic location and market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
