Enterprise Data Engineering Solutions Lead
Duration: 6+ months Location: Remote
Lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale AWS data engineering solutions supporting high-volume transactional data platforms. This role combines deep technical expertise with technical leadership, driving architecture decisions, mentoring an offshore engineering team, and partnering directly with clients to deliver scalable, high-performance data solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on AWS Glue development
- Advanced PySpark development experience
- Experience leading Data Engineering teams and solution architecture for enterprise projects
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable AWS-based data engineering solutions.
- Develop and optimize ETL pipelines using AWS Glue and PySpark.
- Define data architecture patterns and evaluate design, scalability, and performance trade-offs.
- Lead and mentor an offshore team of five data engineers.
- Partner with client stakeholders to review technical solutions and architecture decisions.
- Design and deliver high-performance transaction cache and data integration solutions.
