If you are passionate about patient care, enjoy working independently, and want to make a difference in your community, we want to hear from you!* Competitive hourly pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour* Full-time position* Coverage area: Solana Beach to Coronado* Comprehensive benefits package, including: + Health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance + 401(k) with generous company match + Paid time off (PTO) + Employee Assistance Program + Critical illness benefit**As a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant, you will:*** Provide in-home physical therapy under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist and in accordance with the physician’s Plan of Care (POC).* Assist patients with mobility, strength, pain management, and range of motion exercises.* Implement therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfer activities, and prosthetic training.* Utilize physical agents such as heat, cold, water, light, electricity, ultrasound, and massage.* Educate patients on the use of assistive devices (wheelchairs, braces, crutches, canes, prosthetics).* Monitor and report patient progress and changes in condition.**Qualifications*** Active California PTA license* Minimum 2 years of patient care experience (Home Health experience preferred)* Current CPR certification* Valid driver’s license and reliable, insured vehicle* Strong communication and organizational skills**About Seaport Scripps Home Health**We are part of the Pennant Group, a nationwide network with 300+ locations.
