Join our team as anInformation Technology Intern: Support the build and operation of technology systems with the tools, technologies, and processes used to support reliable and efficient technical environments. Interns will work alongside experienced professionals to build foundational skills in areas such as IT operations, system and network administration, cloud technologies, infrastructure automation, configuration management, and technical support. Through mentorship and practical assignments, participants will strengthen their troubleshooting and problem-solving skills while gaining exposure to real-world IT and DevSecOps environments. Each year SimVentions invites a select number of students to join us for our immersive 11-week paid internship program where you will experience our outstanding company culture while gaining valuable experience that you can implement into your post graduate professional career. Eligibility: SimVentions offers internship opportunities across a variety of technical disciplines, including systems engineering, software engineering, modeling & simulation, and cybersecurity engineering. Priority consideration will be given to returning interns and students pursuing degrees that align with our core technical areas. Students pursuing degrees in other fields may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Clearance A Clearance is not required for our internship program but all candidates must be eligible to obtain a clearance. Requirements Completed Freshman year of college by the start of the internship (must be a rising sophomore, junior, or senior). Enrolled in a relevant degree program such as systems engineering, software engineering, cybersecurity, computer science, or a related field. Strong interest in technology, innovation, and problem-solving. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A proactive, eager-to-learn attitude with a commitment to personal and professional growth. Previous experience or coursework in systems engineering, software development, or cybersecurity is a plus.
