Aerospace Tooling TechnicianImmediately Hiring!Location: Grand Prairie, TXShift: Days- 6:00AM-2:30PMStarting Pay: $28.44/hourEligibility: Only U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders, and political asylees or refugees are eligible to apply.As a Tooling Technician, you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect people's lives!Primary ResponsibilitiesDetermining and performing required maintenance (cleaning, lubricating, aligning/adjusting parts, calibrating, etc.).Testing, troubleshooting, and repairing machines and equipment.Ordering and Installing replacement parts.Performing preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems (e.g. mechanical and electrical).Evaluates and recommends equipment improvements to improve availability, capability, and yield.Performs equipment failure analyses (including preventive and unscheduled maintenance).Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment problems.Prepares technical reports to document equipment modifications and equipment maintenance procedures.QualificationsPreferred Tooling Experience of 4 to 5 years.Experience with welding and machining.Experience and understanding of lathe and milling machinesExperience with CNC Machine for MetalPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift heavy equipment and tools.Ability to push/pull 51 lbs. or more.Comfortable working in various environments, including confined spaces and heights.Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periodsAbout us: PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD®Through leadership in innovation, sustainability and color, PPG helps customers in industrial, transportation, consumer products, and construction markets and aftermarkets to enhance more surfaces in more ways than does any other company.
