Patient Transportation Driver

The purpose of a Patient Transportation Driver is to transport patients to and from hospital, approved therapy service centers, patient care centers and private residences in a safe, secure and professional manner.

Education/Experience

• A minimum of a high school diploma or its equivalent is required
• Previous driving experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.
• Must display and conduct themselves in a professional manner and be able to communicate to all age specific groups.
• Must have good communication skills and be able to read and write reports
• They must also possess the ability to document occurrences in writing accurately.
• Annual validations in safety and infection control procedures.
• Must possess a valid driver's license issued by the state of their legal residence.
