Job Description

Responsibilities:

The Maintenance & Reliability Engineer will develop short-term engineering solutions for rotating and fixed equipment to improve the life cycle and equipment reliability.
Implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Reliability Performance Indicators.
Lead Failure Mode and Effects Analysis and other Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) efforts.
Lead reliability programs and work closely with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering to prioritize and schedule work.
Support the implementation of reliability efforts, mechanical integrity, PSM, and Safety Audit Action Items.
Champion the Preventive and predictive (PM/PdM) Maintenance of plant equipment/
Investigate downtime/failures, assist in the identification of root causes, and development and implementation of technical solutions.
Relocation available. $120K-$130K.

Requirements

The Maintenance & Reliability Engineer will have a BS degree with an engineering major.
3+ years of equipment maintenance and troubleshooting in the chemical industry.
Working knowledge of equipment design, function, regulatory requirements, and PSM - Mechanical Integrity.
Understanding of welding principles. Failure analysis training FMEA or RCFA
Skilled in handling fixed equipment (piping, pressure vessels, storage tanks, etc.) or rotating equipment (centrifugal and positive displacement pumps, vacuum pumps, gearboxes, seals, fans, blowers, vibration analysis).
Must be legally eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
