The Learning Institute for Functional Education (L.I.F.E.) is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist. Experience in ABA is highly preferred, recruiting experience is required. 

Qualified candidates may possess experience recruiting in behavioral health, schools, healthcare, or other related fields. Ideal candidates may possess a bachelor's degree or a certification (i.e., RBT, BCAT, etc.), but it is not required.

L.I.F.E. is a rapidly growing ABA company in the central valley. L.I.F.E. utilizes the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to increase Functional skills and decrease maladaptive behaviors in children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Develop and execute recruiting plans and strategies to meet the organization's staffing needs.
• Source, screen, and interview candidates using various recruiting tools and techniques.
• Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive sourcing methods.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Conduct reference checks and background screenings on potential candidates.
• Extend job offers and negotiate employment terms with selected candidates.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system.
• Stay updated on employment labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance in the recruitment process.
• Ensure client and employee confidentiality, in compliance with HIPAA laws.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to receive detailed information through oral, written, and electronic forms of communication.
• Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with clients and co-workers.
• Ability to adhere to organizational policies and procedures and abide by code of ethics as indicated by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
• Commitment to ongoing training and development as it relates to administrative skills, professional development, ethics, technology, and training to perform job responsibilities to required standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent OR a BA/BS degree in a related field.
• RBT or BCAT certification is preferred, but not required.
• At least two years of recruiting experience in a related field is required.
• Proven experience as a Recruiter or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and techniques.
• Experience working with or exposure to children and/or adults with disabilities in an ABA setting is preferred.
• Must provide a negative TB test and pass a criminal background clearance upon hire.
• Must have reliable transportation, a valid Driver's License, and active car insurance in order to travel to the office and recruiting events.
• Must be able to perform essential work duties such as lifting, squatting, and sitting for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to sit on the floor or stand for extended periods of time.

Hours & Availability:

• This is a full-time position only. Part-time applicants will not be considered.
• Must be available to work at least 40 hours each week Monday through Friday during normal business hours. (9AM-5PM) 
• Must be able to reliably commute to our office location in Modesto. Remote work is not available.
• Must be able to reliably commute to recruiting events on occasion.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
