In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of maintaining and repairing diesel engines, ensuring that our fleet operates smoothly and efficiently. Your hands-on skills and mechanical knowledge will make a significant impact in keeping our operations running at peak performance. If you’re passionate about diesel mechanics and ready to take on exciting challenges, we want to hear from you! What you’ll do Perform diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, air brakes, hydraulics, and suspension systems. Conduct routine maintenance on a variety of heavy equipment including triaxle dump trucks, excavators, loaders, dozers, screeners. Utilize schematics to troubleshoot electrical systems and perform automotive diagnostics. Execute fabrication tasks as needed to enhance equipment functionality. Operate hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively. Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and parts inventory. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service requests. Basic qualifications Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in diesel engine repair. Proficiency in heavy truck and equipment repair techniques including brake repair, alignment, shocks & struts. Additional Pay incentives for a CDL (A or B).
