Job Responsibilities As a Building Cleaner/Housekeeper, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment for employees, residents, and visitors by performing duties such as: Arrive on time and prepared to perform scheduled duties. Clean offices, hallways, lobbies, meeting rooms, and common areas. Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners. Dust furniture, ledges, baseboards, windowsills, and other surfaces. Vacuum carpets and rugs. Sweep, mop, and disinfect hard floor surfaces. Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, counters, partitions, and floors. Refill restroom supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, and other dispensers. Clean windows, glass doors, and other interior glass surfaces. Make beds and change linens when required (depending on assigned area). Clean and disinfect kitchens, break rooms, and dining areas. Wipe down high-touch surfaces, including door handles, light switches, railings, and elevator buttons. Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to supervisors. Keep janitorial closets clean, organized, and stocked with supplies. Safely operate vacuums, floor scrubbers, mops, and other cleaning equipment. Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
